I have edited more than 20 books and have served as a copy editor, fact-checker, design proofreader, and indexer. I serve as the primary editor for a series of political books called Broadsides, published by Encounter Books, and work as a freelance copy editor and international retext editor for TIME magazine.

I have also worked as a newspaper copy editor, wire editor, copy chief, and reporter. As an editor for a legal consulting firm, I edited legal reports, outgoing correspondence, and multimedia presentations for use before a judge and jury.

My writing has been featured in newspapers; several anthologies, including Susan Fawcett’s Evergreen: A Guide to Writing; online publications such as eHow.com and the how-to blog DIY:happy; and advertising materials for New York-based companies.
